Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Let's help Carlos Beltran and the Giants win the West by taking down these desert upstarts. Ian Kennedy gets the start for the DBaggs, he's having an unexpectedly good year himself, so let's ruin that too.Duda will be inspired by a visit from his zexy sister.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I expect emo sister will pop Tejada's cherry , God knows he needs relaxing.....Ed Coleman reckons he needs a blow anyway.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Do you really think Duda's sister looks like an emu?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 She bangs! She bangs!

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Yeesh. Justin Upton tees off on the OG for a solo shot. 1-0 Douchebacks.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Not for nothing and I hope we hammer him tonight but it's great to see Kennedy have success away from the Bronx.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 WTG is Pagan doing on Harris's little bloop with two outs? He's reverting to his former brain-dead self.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 @dbacksArizona Diamondbacks #dbacks Xavier Nady suffered a fractured left hand when he was hit by a pitch in the second inning
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Loaded up for Rubie. If we don;t cash this in I might have to crash
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Redemption, thy name is Ruben (potentially).
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I don't understand how those pitches off the hand don't break a bone like practically every time.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Well that sucked a desert dick.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 whiffs on 3.Here's Gee Money.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Generally speaking, I like Jay-Z. But that one song is just a crime against humanity and I'll die a happy man if I never hear it again.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Agreed. And then, in the chorus, as if it weren't bad enough... there's the pop world's most prominent preposition dangle. This game? Almost as draining.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I've got no data to back this up, but this team has to be the worst in the league at turning simple come-backers into outs and into GiDPs.Two were botched tonight when they got a total of two outs instead of four.

I'd like to see the pitchers round out their game somewhat. They bunt like shit too.The thing is, had you asked me before the season started, I'd have said that our starting staff as a whole was above average athletically and would probably have an edge over most other teams in hitting, fielding & bunting. Instead, they've pretty much been awful all around.Pitchers as hitters: NYM -- .114/.150/.129NL -- .145/.178/.189Plus, if you factored the Mets' ineptness out of the NL stats the gap would be even wider. Not that the gap in hitting alone would make a huge difference in the standings, but I've just been surprised by how poorly the hurlers have executed their fundies all season, especially in little things like come-backers. Just in the last few games there were two potential GiDPs screwed up last night on top of Dickey's error the other day which led to two runs.
