just noticed Beltran leading rbi's as well with 66.
Wright at 58, bay at 57, and Pagan at 56.

Beltran may finish on top of that category as well...

The Mets should definitely hold on to that guy.

Turner's ribeye steak today allows him to move up past Daniel Murphy among 2011 Mets into a tie for fifth place with Lucas Duda. Ruben Tejada makes a big stride with three ribs and is breathing down Josh Thole's neck and maybe Jose Reyes'.

Mets RBI in 2011

1 Beltran, 66
2 Wright, 58
3 Bay, 57
4 Pagan, 56
T5 Duda, 50

T5 Turner, 50
7 Murphy,49
8 Reyes, 40
9 Thole, 37
10 Tejada, 35

11 Davis, 25
12 Hairston, 24
13 Harris, 23
14 Evans, 21
15 Pridie, 20

16 Paulino, 17
17 Nickeas, 6
T18 Gee, 4
T18 Pelfrey, 4
T20 Baxter, 2

T20 Dickey, 2
T20 Martinez, 2
T20 Satin, 2
T20 Young, 2
T25 Emaus, 1

T25 Hu, 1

Standings now and forever

1. Beltran: 15
2. Wright: 14
3. Bay: 12
4. Duda: 10
T5. Davis: 7
T5. Hairston: 7
T5. Pagan: 7
T5. Reyes: 7
9. Murphy 6
T10. Evans: 4
T10. Pridie: 4
T10Turner: 4
13. Thole: 3
T14. Harris: 2
T14. Paulino: 2
T16. Baxter: 1
T16. Martinez: 1
T16. Nickeas: 1
T16. Paulino: 1

The final tally is 108, leaving them one behind the 1969 team, in sole possession of 29th place in Mets history. But that team did OK.

League-wide, they were 12th in the 16-team National League, leading only Pittsburgh, Houston, and San Diego.

It's crazy that:

1. Beltran won. After not being a Met for the last two and a half months.
2. Davis is tied for fifth when he played 4 games this season.

Benefitted most from Reyes' good stretches + Wright injury + revolving No. 2 hitters, not surprising.

That's the part that really sucked about this year; Ike was off to a great start.
As it was he wound up finishing 3rd on the team in RC/G (7.2*) not far behind Reyes (7.8) & Beltran (7.6)

I picked this one right with Beltran.
I missed by one in picking the season ending victory total.
I'm on a roll.
But for the life of me I still can't figure out who will, with less than four hours remaining, start my Happy Birthday thread.
(Does that answer that question?)

I'll wish you a happy one here and now then, as I may gorge myself to death on the buffet at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas in about 20 minutes.

Reyes' 7 didn't come up the entire hour I played Roulette. depressing.
