Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Glad we went up against Kemp. Losing him would have just brought Loney up as the tying run. (And Byrdak into the game?)
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I'll say it again: These Dodgers suck.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 McCutchen over Kemp. All day and every day.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Who's this Bay kid? Looks like a ballplayer.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Bay vs. Dodger Stadium, round 2: Bay wins.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 I say yes, but I suspect no. In fact, I suspect Terry told him to hit the shower as soon as he came in.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Jizzringhausen: Not good.

And the Dodgers suck in person too.Hadn't been to Estadio Doyer in about 20 years but that park is still pristine. For a place as old as Shea was, they keep it real nice. It sparkles.Gene Simmons threw out the first pitch and Shannon Tweed and her legendary breasts were there as well.Jr. And I will be at the game in 'Frisco Friday night too.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 a current problem is that almost all of the teams in front of the Mets in the Wild Card standings are winning as well right now. A key exception is Milwaukee, who just got passed by Pittsburgh(!). Arizona is sliding a little too. They're playing some good ball, but they've got to get it done in division play.

Would have to sweep to have any real ground made up, but..they did beat the Braves recently. and not unti August again, when they have 6 games (or the number of losses they're behind right now) by then Wright and Reyes should be making this lineup look pretty awesome, and who knows, maybe even Ike and Johan for the second series.
