G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Huey Lewis leaves good Met vibes behind at PNC. Ain't no livin' in a perfect world, but three of four would be nice.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Wayne Hagin claims Pelfrey is going to debut his cutter today. First I've heard that, but I doubt he's making it up?
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Pelfrey gives up an unearned run on a ridiculous obstruction call. Not only was Reyes not in the baseline (rule is 3 feet from the line between the bases) he stepped out of the way. Stupid umps.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 While running this evening, "I Want A New Drug" came on my Slacker radio.I'm not a Huey Lewis guy, so it was weird...I consider it a sign. Of what, I don't know.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Once again, Murphy shows us that while he can hit, he is bad in every other phase of the game. Idiot.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I'm giving Carrasco some beer for stranding three inherited runners.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Not a good showing for Team Plays-The-Game-The-Right-Way.Muffy's dumb plays and physical shortcomings have cost us about three games already this year.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Duda's dumbth didn't help either. And even though I'm certainly not going to throw back his hit, he basically reached for a 2-0 pitch which he hit weakly but got lucky that it found a hole. Not a great swing/approach especially since he was up there in that situation to, if he got ahead in the count, pick out a pitch and mash the snot out of it.Disappointing game/series although the game 2 loss was worse than this one.
