That's a lot of singles they need to hit in order to win. Nice time to get out of town. Maybe they can reach the fences in Milwaukee or Pittsburgh.

Good call. I think we're gettng there. I kind of want an Evans/Martinez dealio. My real point was to demonstrate the lack of thump through the middle of the order (or anywhere).

i wouldn't mind seeing that platoon in LF from here on out, whether Beltran is in RF or not.

In the meantime, Duda's been as hot as the wings in Buffalo (9-21 w/4 HRs, 1 2B, 5 BBs, 8 RBIs last week)
You hate to bring him up for more part-time work, especially since he's been so bad at that in his brief two tries, but with Ike out for who knows how long it might be a good time. Biggest problem is that you don't want his time to take away from either Murph or Turner and we know both Duda & Muffy are adventures in the OF.

I thought this too, how much less hateable the lineup is with Bay on the pine.
