TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Balk? This is the strangest at-bat ever....and it was Howie.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Wait, so Harris is at second? Third?I don't know anything anymore.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Harris went to 2nd on a balk that Howie thought was strike 2. At that point, Terry PHed Thole for Capuano. Thole was on his way in anyway since Paulino had the single and was PRed for by harris. Now Harris at 3rd on WP and Thole works out walk.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Sac Fly for Tejada who's all over Bay in the Ribbie Dept.Perhaps they oughta flip lineup slots.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 What terrible excution by the Buccaneers there.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Ruben continues to make a case for 2012.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Thole walks, Harris at third, Tejada up.Sac fly! Yea!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Many thanks to my suitemate, the MFP fan, for walking in during the strange at bat to--do you believe it?--ask me a work question!

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I love how the Pirates have multiple multi-racial McCutchens.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Walking Murphy to get to Reyes? We're through the Pirate looking glass.

One thing about the weather today is that I think the wind might be playing havoc with OFers throws, another reason why Hale's aggressive sending has been correct today.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Ginger foulpops out.Beltran now.

If you're calling McCutchen lazy, I'm first looking at your faulty eyesight, then I'm wondering why you're saying what you're saying. Just this series, dude's run out TWO routine grounders this for hits, and made the finest defensive play I've seen in CitiField with an all-out-sprinting-thoroughbred kind of effort.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I'm pretty sure 80% of Rubin's tweets during games are how the Mets have been out-grandslammed 18-0 since 8/09. Give it a rest, Rubin.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 He did airmail that throw allowing Thole to get to 2nd, but I suspect that's more a combination of a tough day to catch flies and also a tough day to throw. He normally he has good arm.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 That gives Frankie some breathing room!
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Beltran walks in a run! Here comes Clint Hurdle, he wants to give someone different a chance to whiff Bay with the bases loaded.
