Mets acquire OF/1B Bubba Bell from the seriously, I just used a racist word when I really meant "Guardians", assign him to Buffalo.

Looks like Minor Lg vet with decent bat, little power.

Bubba Bell has almost as good a name as Boof Bonser.

I don't know anything else about him, but I'm inclined to think I'd rather have him on the bench during Ike's absence than Fernando Martinez, only because I'd rather see Fernando get his playing time.

Much of that looks like it came while playing high-A ball in the notoriously hitter-friendly California League.
A promotion to AA and with it a trip back east and out of the high desert sure put a damper on things.
