Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Time to turn this into a protracted winning streak.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 A team that are as bad if not worse than our beloveds?

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 The Astros suck...A team to beat up on.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Gary said it was 5u. It was a nice play by David no matter what.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 The 1-6-3 DP is pretty nice too.C'mon O! Score some runs!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Pitching progressing.Hitting regressing.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Niese has been better, but the infield (Turner excluded) has helped him out a few times. The walks. Ugh.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Another nice defensive play to quash a jam. Thole!
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I think with Emaus gone, Hairston may want to start looking over his shoulder.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Yeah, I'm not sure why we didn't see Muffy there.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 They would have gone to a lefty, but I'm saying, whatever chases the starter sooner rather than later is good. I hate to let an opposing starter go deep in game one of a series.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Yeesh. Balk in a run before you throw a pitch. Embarrassing.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 A six-one lead looks to be a tough haul.Parnell is a perfect candidate to shuffle off Teufelo when Bay and/or Paulino join the team. So perfect that I might be angry if it's not him.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 At least that torture is over. Also, I'll be the one to say that Justin should get a haircut.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Terry's better PH, Murphy, and better RP, Isringhausen, didn't get in the game and the players that were used didn't come through. Sometimes you shouldn't save your "bullets" for later in the game.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Depressing to look outmatched so badly by a team with an equally shitty record. The reality is as long as you've got bullpen pitchers shitting on the mound, and shaky defense, combined with a lack of hitting for power and/or average, well, you're going to be those guys.
