Putting the cart a bit in front of the horse, but if Mookie Wilson does join Terry Collins' staff, he will be the 8th Met coach with more than 1 coaching tenure.

Name the other 7.

Note 1) Roy McMillian and Mike Cubbage do not count as they were only interim skippers whom went back to their regular positions when Joe Frazier and Jeff Torborg made out their respective staffs the following seasons.

Note 2) Two of the 7 have made 3 separate tenures as Met coaches.

Pignatano seemed around for a long time, don't know if
there was a lapse in there to make it a two-fer.

Correct
Frank Howard 1982-1984, 1994-1996 (ELBYT, Edgy)
Sheriff Robinson (the first two tour of duty guy) 1964-1967, 1972 (G-Fafif)
Randy Niemann 1997-1999, 2001-2002, 2009-2010 (G-Fafif) And one of the two 3 timers)
Bud Harrelson 1982, 1985-1990 (Edgy)

WRONG
Joe Pignatano (Kase)
Al Jackson (Edgy)
Mike Cubbage (Ashie, and not reading my notes about Cubbage and McMillian)

Ah yes, simpler times. When Charles Dolan's empire consisted of just a wannabe local ESPN outlet out of Long Island.

How bad was Buddy on the mike? They also made Rusty Staub a player-coach that year as well.

Bud was ok, but I was a huge Harrelson fan and didn't look at
announcers like I do nowadays. Be interested to see what others
remember of him on the tube.

I just cheated and looked up the answers in a media guide. I
never would have gotten the other three-timer.

Hints
Last three tour guy did it over a span of 12 seasons, only 3 of them he was not a coach with the big club

Another technically should be considered a three tour of duty guy, but he was reinstated the next season after being fired mid-way through a season, so the media guide lists him as having one continuous tour.

Not much to say hint wise about the last one, but he has been a lifer in the Met organization for over 20 years and served for one season each with two different skippers.
