I don't get the gr� for Ike Davis' season. He did OK, but as a 1b man he was distinctly average - and average is fine - but Tak was a VERY good reliever and OK starter and Niese was good starter, both of those beat being an OK 1b man in my book.

Average offensively... and great defensively. A very good reliever and "meh" fill-in starter (he was never mediocre, really-- more half-pretty-good/half-very-bad) simply ain't worth as much as Ike, even if this is ALL Ike is. There's a reason swingmen make 1-2 million a year (maybe), while the Adam LaRoches of the world make 4-8 million.
