Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 What an obnoxious douchebag. Jack Lang should escape from his coffin and beat this guy to death with a dictionary.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Jeez. That article resonates with me. Not the part about not enjoying the win, but Frenchy shouldn't be starting any game against a right-handed pitcher. The Mets can't afford to squander any more at bats.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I'm in agreement with that. But using a dramatic and well played and important win as the leaping-off point to cry out that it didn't matter whether they won or lost because they won despite being stupid and I'm not stupid and the world is just so unjust is just so desperately obnoxious.Sheesh, I'm more over Jerry than you are, and I was able to give the guy a genial pat on the ass. What's the point otherwise? It's baseball. The winner is the one who scores most, not the guy who's read the most Bill James.I mean, a journalist saying a guy sucks in his headline? Using "I cant recall feeling worse about a Mets win than I did on Tuesday night" as a lede? Get some perspective, Grantland Rice.
