G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 "Let's keep the brooms in the closet" -- sounds vaguely sexual, somehow.
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 If the Mets score 14 runs tomorrow I'll give every member of CPF a .........never mind.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 So... Sanchez should balk five guys home today, right?

Thole for Ollie? Or Valdes?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 David goes KaBlang. You guys will just have to take my word for this but I totally predicted it.

They're just routine outs in most other ballparks. His power seems to have simply disappeared. I think Citi Field has gotten into his head.

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 the behind the plate camera makes hbp's look so much more hurtful
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 I really wanted Thole to pinch hit for Blanco there. I have no doubt that Jerry was able to hear me suggest same.

As a matter of fact, I find them depressing. It shows that his power outage isn't necessarily attributable to Citi Field's dimensions and may be due to something physical (or mental). Either way, he shows little resemblance to the middle of the line up slugger the Mets envisioned when they signed him this winter.
