Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 All David needed there was a sac fly. Not good.

I really wanted it here tho. Really. We take this game back and and I'll sketch a team picture for Topps.Just saw my cousin-in-law on TV.[/quote:2bw8kf0o]How kool is that?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 So, do you have the guts to send Thole up against Zumaya in the eighth? Or go right-on-right with Tatis?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 That friggin 2-0 pitch was the killer. After Coke missed with the first 2 pitches, Wright should have been zoning for an inside pitch he could drive and left anything else alone. If he lays off that pitch it's 3-0 and Coke's in a world of hurt.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Igarashi throwing some nasty stuff tonight.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Sure the pitches were sweet but Wright's gotta know not to fallinto that shit trap. He wanted to hit a five run homer. Did Keithactually mutter something about a good AB by David?

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Good time for Bay to show that he still knows how to put a charge into a ball.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Now is the time Mr. Bay.Get it started NOW!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Nothing personal, Tatis, but LET THOLE HIT.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Tatis is getting worse and worse. I think he's going to be the next one voted off the island.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Mets are dinkin' and dunkin' like, er, never mind ...
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Thole is batting in the seventh slot anyhow, so pinch-run here and double-switch in Thole after the inning.

You shrink your strike-zone in those situations.I didn't understand Keith's praise of that AB either.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Would be a shame to waste this nice comeback only to leaveall those men on base in the last two innings.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Damn.: I've never even watched the X-Files. Note in note to myself: keep head in game and eye on ball.________________It was a good at-bat and good try Chris. Tip0myHat
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Cant' say we didn't have chances. At least the top of the order in the ninth. Jose will get on and all kinds of good things will happen.
