It's good to be Jose Reyes these days.

Wow.
Just saw the DP replay.
What a turn by Castillo.
Utley was trying to take him out
Excellent play.

Pelf leads off with a single.
Reyes singles.....

please dont bunt and short-circuit a potential monster inning here

Hamels almost panics on the Castillo bunt.
Great bunt.
They say he might have rehurt his heel there, crossin 1st.

Here's hoping Ike hits a semi-intentional homer.

Nope, unintentional disaster.

damn. double play.

of course, you can't end the inning on one of those if you dont give the pitcher the first out

Great bunt.

Actually it wasn't a GREAT bunt.
Hamels laid down a great bunt last inning.
Don't mind me, Im a lil over excited.

Damn, they get the DP on us.

Another nice DP off of a Werth smoker. Castillo's having a nice defensive game.

Last time this season I remember noting that, he made some terrible, game-changing plays later.

I hear ya but I really think, the way the ballpark is currently, you have to play small ball for the most part.

If they don't lower that left field fence I'm thinking what they should do is create strategic holes
in the stands and as a result create air currents that will aid the flight of a baseball.

That sounds funny but I'm being serious.

And still lower that damn left field wall.
I just hate that.

...but I hear ya.

Interesting discussion from Costas. When/if Beltran comes back, does Pagan move to right and Frenchy finds some pine?

Wow! What is that, three DPs?

If French don't start to fry, I would think so.

ANOTHER DP!

another doubleplay gets Pelfrey back to the dugout

great "phillies suck" chant going that inning too!

So, with no KTE, I'm in the dark. How did Philadelphia become the 2009 Mets and end up with their fourth-string shortstop (and the same fourth-string shortstop at that)?

With a 1-0 lead, it's no time to start poking the beast.

So is it too early to start calling this the Rob Base game?
