Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 What a surprise! Bay strikes out to end the game. If it hadn't been him, it almost certainly would have been Wright following him.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 The only thing more fitting would be if he took that final strike looking.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Piss poor at bat by Bay..... horrible night at the plate for the Mets....

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 There was very little redeeming about this game.Maine actually turned in a serviceable outing and given the alternative, I think I'd rather see the occasional solo home run (even if back-to-back) because he's throwing strikes than lots of walks.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Worst game of the year IMO[/quote:kyee1r5r]the willie harris diving catch sucked more for me, but i didnt see this one start to finish
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 The game itself was uninspiring, but I enjoyed sitting with sharpie and Lenny.
