Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 They could use your support here. Ollie and Takahashi have walked the lead away and we stopped hitting the knuckler after the first 3-3 now in the 4th.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Nice assist from Angel Campos (HP Ump) on the called third strike on James Loney (it was ball 4). Loney gets the boot after arguing.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 That called third strike to Loney (that eventually got him run for ranting and raving) was an inning ending gift.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Gotta love those lotta hit innings that result innotta runs.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 This Nordic skiing/Ricky Schroeder-lookin' dude is a good interview.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Pagan and Castillo on with no outs. It's run-scoring time boys.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I think things are about to implode on the Dodger bullpenand Uncle Joe.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Wright to the boo-birds, "How do you like me now?"

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 I know it's early, but Takahashi sure is fitting in nicely as our savvy veteran long-reliever, a-la Darren Oliver of several years ago.

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Good thing that Jerry didn't have Castillo sac bunting Pagan over to second base last inning. (Howie Rose was announcing as if the sac bunt was likelier than not). All three runs scored with two outs. If Castillo sac bunts, he doesn't walk, and the Mets ultimately score nothing. A sac bunt would've cost the Mets three runs.
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
