Scratch off "most fundamentally sound reliever ever" on that plaque, C'town.

Hell, bunt again, Chone.

Rivera fields real well so a bunt is no sure thing here.[/quote:3kw9i6os]

Bad throw to third though and the runner is safe, squeaky bum time

I don't trust Toriiiii in these situations. Too hit or miss.[/quote:26jikzt5]

As opposed to Vlad? The one guy I would want up there, were I Scoscia, just got walked.

Pat Sajak is allowed to root, isn't he? He's standing there w/his big head and not cheering.

Strike one to Hunter, by the way, was BS.

If I had a Grade 2 concussion, or lacked the ability to form new memories (call it clinical Mementosis), Joe Buck would be my favorite PBP guy.

Well, that inning got rid of Rivera anyway, plus all the maneuvering cost Girardi not only his closer but Damon and his final backup catcher as well (leaving him only that spare OFer Guzman I think).
And Scioscia gambled and was able to keep his big catcher.

Now all they gotta do is get a big fucking hit.

Hey, Kendry, hit one a mile.

Fuck it, hit it to Cuba and end this shit.

Strikes one and two to Morales, also.

Hey, Girardi, cut it out and let somebody pitch.

To be fair, it's kinda gone both ways the last couple of innings.

Nice strategy there by Captain Hook.

You know what helped there? Girardi's NL experience. Because whenever you can make a move to counter a .200-hitting catcher, especially when you're pulling a hot pitcher in making that move, you've GOT to make that move.

Nice play by Hairston wasn't it?

Three more like that, guys.

Now if only the Dodgers could get out of the f***ing first inning without falling behind...

And there was much rejoicing!
