nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 i'd just like to share my strong dislike for head to head leagues because i'm 1-3 through week 4 of the nfl season with the SECOND HIGHEST POINT TOTAL in a 12 team league, two weeks in a row i scored the 2nd most points only to get matched up with the only guy who scored more.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Played in three money leagues this year, all had entry fees of between $30 and $50.One of them (a 10 team league) I stunk, finished 5-8 and missed the playoffs. Too many dumb draft choices. The second one (a 12 team league) I finished 11-3, won a $96 prize for being the high scorer in weeks 1-16, and can win another $48 for the 3rd place prize if Adrian Peterson scores less than 25 pts tonight. The third one (a 14 team keeper league) I dominated -- finished 10-4 and plowed through the playoffs winning the finals 166-106 going into tonight. In this league, also, the guy just has A.P. left but I don't think he's scoring 60 tonight. First prize in this one is $210.Nice little haul for the Fman this year.
willpie Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I finished the season 10-4, had won 9 straight, and got bounced in the first round of the playoffs, thanks to a stinker from Tony Romo & Percy Harvin's migraine.I proceeded to dominate the consolation bracket, so I guess I'm king of the losers.
