A missed opportunity. And when did the Rockies give them Jeff Baker? Good spare part-- at 1B, 2B, SS and the OF-- that one.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 What should I expect from Misch today?
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I don't know what to expect, but I'm hoping that the offense from yesterday will show up so it won't really matter.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Down 1-0 in the second, the Mets are threatening. First and third, none out, Santos up.Dropped pop up! A run comes home!
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Oops, not actually dropped. Mixup between infielder and outfielder causes the ball to drop in between.

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 That Milton Bradley is a real gamer!** a collective moan falls across the thread **
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Baker diving stop on the liner was just the first out, but it was the key runstopper.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 After two innings:Misch has allowed 3 hits, 0 walks and 1 earned run (with further damage saved by nice defensive play at 2nd), with 1 K in his pocket, in 27 pitches.Ted Lilly has allowed 3 hits, 0 walks and 1 earned run (with further damage saved by nice defensive play at 2nd), with 1 K in his pocket, in 23 pitches.(Cue spooky theremin vamp)
