Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Winnie the Pujols needs redemption here.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 ]Fistful of Dollars in on the Western ChannelRio Bravo on AMC. I'm DVRing. Wouldn't you think they'd be featuring chick movies?
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I hate all the July trade speculation. Lots of chatter, and lots of times it's for nothing.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Much better inning for the kid.

They got their close-up but lost the throw in the process. I think it reached Pujols but I'll have to take someone's word for it.The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if FOX (yes I know) did that intentionally in order not to show the President botching the throw.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 "I don't hate the Cubs. I just don't root for them."Another politician fibbing! If he's a Sox fan, he hates them.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Pujols saved him from bouncing it.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 D-Wright gets a broken-bat hit.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Sugar Pants sez: Sucks to your no hitter! Dick Torino cheats him over, and we've got a stew goin'.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 You crossed the fucking line, McCarver. Nobody disses Benny.(I'm assuming he meant Hawaiian all-stars, which just makes him a boob incapable of forming complete thoughts verbally.)

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 BAM! Prince lays into that fastball like it was made of seitan and kelp. 3-2, Real Baseball.

For all of the crystal clear quality of Fox sports in HD their production values suck like a John Waters movie.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Ryan Franklin is the first pitcher to come on in relief? Come one. The guy's got Mark Fydrich's pubes on his face for Chrissakes.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 We got the lead, so we're going to all-closers the rest of the way.I think Francisco might need to pitch 2 innings.

Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Closer in the third inning. In a game like this, that works. Keep them down.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I'd rather have Haren in there for a couple than, say, Cordero.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Dear David Wright,Sometimes it's OK to turn down a commercial... especially if they have you saying "holla."
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I'd use Billingsley, Johnson, Haren, Bell and Rodriguez for the rest of the game if it were up to me. Cordero I guess gets an inning if necessary.Don't want Duke, Lilly, Hoffman, Marquis and definitely not Santana in there.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Think I read today that the Mets asked Manuel not to use Johan unless he really, really had to.Must be afraid of the curse.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Raul Ibanez, 37 and playing in his first ASG, pops his first pitch up. Good, stupid Phillie. Sit yer ass down.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 What's filthier than filthy? That's Greinke's offspeed stuff.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 DW out in favor of Zimmerman. Next Mets appearance should be in the top of the 9th inning.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I'd like Billingsly a lot more if he hit Jeter right here.
