SJR, were you on the debate team in high school?

And if so, exactly how bad a won-loss record did that team have?

Let's just say their mascot was the Oriole, if you know what I mean.

And speaking of which, how is this guy knocking Mr. Met, a Mascot Hall of Famer, when their mascot's name is "The Bird"? Seriously? That's the best the Baltimore think tank could come up with in 1979?

"I mean I HATE the Yankees, yet because I've somehow have drunk some Yankee history kool-aid, and admit to buying Yankee gear, memorabilia..."

Oh, Steve. I don't think this was a good idea. Some things, you just gotta keep to yourself, and this was numbers 1, 2, and 3.

I'm curious about Stevo's previous 11 posts going back to 2006.

Steve's lack of perception about how his words are perceived make him a natural fit for the Mets front office.

Like he thinks we can't find this stuff. The FBI should hire Edgy; he'd find Jimmy Hoffa in twenty seconds.

Let's take it easy on Stevie. If he wants to tag in on that guy for me, more power to him.

Fight Non sequitur with non sequitur, so to speak.

I'm impressed with the O's fans' retience in engaging Rogers in combat.

I think O's fans are good eggs generally and they certainly are our allies in MFY hatred.

"Well, arguing that point is like trying to figure out the nose-shadow on the Elston Howard memorial in Monument Park, you know-- it just doesn't make sense. I hate that feeling of futility like I hate the 26-time World Champion New York Yankees!"

Last night, as I'm watching the game, when Aubrey Huff stepped to the plate I, for an instant, forgot what decade I was in and thought I was looking at a young Rusty Staub.
