Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 I somehow missed Cora's activation. (Was he available for last night's game?) Who went away to make room for him? Was it Valdez?
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Cora! Cora! Cora!(If he were an MFY, I assume Sterling would be all over that one.)
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 In short, IF: Cora in; RMartinez outOF: Brown in; Pagan outAlso, Ohlendorf's a Princeton ninny. The gentleman in me tips my hat to a guy who earned his engineering degree while laboring in the D-Back farm system, while the Quaker in me says, "Fuck that noise-- stuff that eating-club-eatin' muthafucka."
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 That's Emil Brown, not, as I instinctively suspected, Leon "Motor" Brown.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 That sounds more Mennonite than Quaker.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 And it was such a promising thread, too.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2009 Author Posted June 3, 2009 The Mets make this one up on 7/2 at 12:35.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Surprised that there's not a doubleheader today, since the Mets don't have a scheduled return to Pittsburgh.Neither team has to travel far after the game. The Mets are off to Washington and the Pirates are headed to Houston.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 This game is being made up on July 2nd. Off day for the Mets; they'll be on the road between Milwaukee and Philadelphia.

That's if it is rescheduled as a night game.
