Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 No "I don't care" votes. You have to choose, A or B. (Or else, don't vote.)
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 These are both horrendous, the worst of the possible choices. I voted for A, because it's less horrendous than B.The worst thing about both of these is, I think, the solid orange numeral on the right breast. Both the solidness and the position are awful.

If Bingo wore them, or Brooklyn, I'd find it to be quite handsome. The problem is what it is not. It is not a Met uniform. And it doesn't belong on an old metly team.It would look like something less than a playful corruption and something more like an outright abomination, on a minor-league affiliate. Or if a fan wore the left one? Cool. The solid blue is wrong. The insignia, to me, should always be orange. I guess they put it in blue for contrast here, but orange has shown up OK on a white background on the Giants' uniforms, hasn't it?metirish May 18 2009 09:28 AMOn buckets FB I said I would take A over any of them , again if I was offered one for free.holychicken May 18 2009 09:37 AMI look at one and decide to choose the other one. . .and then I look at the other and decide to choose the first. This is a tough one.
