These are both horrendous, the worst of the possible choices.

I voted for A, because it's less horrendous than B.

The worst thing about both of these is, I think, the solid orange numeral on the right breast. Both the solidness and the position are awful.

I think A would be fine-ish for a new Metly team. If Bingo wore them, or Brooklyn, I'd find it to be quite handsome. The problem is what it is not. It is not a Met uniform. And it doesn't belong on an old metly team.

It would look like something less than a playful corruption and something more like an outright abomination, on a minor-league affiliate. Or if a fan wore the left one? Cool.

The solid blue is wrong.

The insignia, to me, should always be orange. I guess they put it in blue for contrast here, but orange has shown up OK on a white background on the Giants' uniforms, hasn't it?

On buckets FB I said I would take A over any of them , again if I was offered one for free.

I look at one and decide to choose the other one. . .and then I look at the other and decide to choose the first.

This is a tough one. I just flipped a coin.

The actual Mets poll had a choice that said "I don't like either of these," or words to that effect. That was the one I picked in this case.

Yah, and I can make out the orange number just fine on the white one. I voted "A", but think they're both ungood.

Ditto. Both of these would go nicely with Cross-Colour jeans and an 8-ball bubble coat in my mom's basement.

Same.

I don't love them but don't think they suck that hard. I mean, they're gonna do an alternate, these are much better than the armpit ones. Which of these I can't choose. I have some good associations with the solid-blue BPs of the 80s so I like B; but the orange # -- sans shadow and heavy outlines -- are nice in style A.
