Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 SNY is producing a broacast (even if we can't see it) because of their need to rebroadcast the game later. Does this mean that MLB.tv customers are the only ones to see the game live? (Or are they blacked out too?)
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 mets.com says mlb.tv will JIP.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 http://cranesville.com/wcss1490/wmp.asxOn the radio, oh-oh.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 hilariously, the bloke in ireland is able to watch it. only saw 2 of livian's 4 batters but for the final out he fielded a very hard hit shot straight back at him with ease. Just before that Cantu had hit what would have been a 2 run BOMB about 20 feet foul down the left hand line.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 Wright going into the fifth game with no RBI is no big deal per se, but when Howie (on that thing with the knobs and the speakers) mentioned all the baserunners he's had in scoring position with no scoring yet...no, still no big deal. But still...
duan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 schnieder just won't hit that much will he.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Creative what SNY is doing ... boxing on an small screen to the left and aplay by play thing with bases, score, and outs and a note thta they can'tcome on until 7:05. Even the commercial are in the small inset. Bravo.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Nice job by Livan to get out of trouble there.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 Now starring Livan Hernandez!

Then Wright's BA with RISP wouldn't be zero, or anything, really.(What a dumb stat).

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 "Whaddaya know about that? A hit with a runner in scoring position," Howie answers.Hey, the radio is still on and it's after 7:05!
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Hooray Jose. Keep it moving now, Murphy.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Doubled off on a hit that's the very idea of perfect contact: a line drive up the middle. Baseball is a funny game.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Why we love Gary, Part 135: KEITH: (Over a shot of Luis Alicea clearing Jose Reyes' RBI-double-shattered bat) "That bat is dead."(pause)GARY: "That bat died a hero."

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 DWright: "See you and raise you, Nolasco."
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 Wayne Hagin injects great drama into that DP. He's grown on me, and not like fungus.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Wright makes an outstanding payback double play that I can't see through the radio.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Howie's worried. Delgado is oh for one againsts Nolasco for the entire season. That's an .000 BA.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Nolasco hasn't thrown a non-hanging curve since the game came on Snigh... and he's thrown a handful of Charlies.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Delgado walks, thus failing to raise his BA against Nolasco. It's still .000.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Church doubles, with a man who cannot be doubled up on first, and Brian Schneider-- a man who, as a hitter, makes an excellent sac bunter-- coming up... and Beltran is held at third. Um... WHAT?
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Thank you Razor Shines. You owe us a run you idjit
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Church seems to be responding well to Manuel's inspiration method of fucking with him as much as possible.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Schneider grounds out -- pitcher to first - to end the inning. I give the inning's goat horns to Church. In the ever important race to lead the league in BA w RISP, Church's double set the stage for the weak-hitting Schneider to fail, and lower the Mets already low BA w RISP.

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Really abusing Rose there for a pretty innocuous statement of fact. The Mets had only one hit with men in scoring position so far. That's all he was saying.
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
