G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Robin Ventura will be in the spotlight Monday night at 6:30 as SNY shows him hitting his two doubleheader grand slams in a Mets Classic (Classics?) from May 20, 1999.Thing about the first grand slam that always gets me when a highlight appears is how there's like six people in the stands. It was a Thursday twinighter that started at 4:40 PM. I had tix and was still at the office when it began.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 For some reason I can't get these games. Even though I subscribe to SNY on DirecTV, the Mets Classics are always blacked out, unless they're airing during a Mets rain delay or rainout.Someday I may be motivated enough to ask them why they do this.
