MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 OK, by now we realize that no Mets player will have his face on a Wheaties box this year. So, which Mets player pictures would you like to see on a milk carton?Who would you like to see gone from the team by next spring?Later
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Marlon Anderson. Waste of space.
Guest mario25 Guests Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Heilman,Schoesnothing,Pedro,Castillo,Ayala,Feliciano,Evans to AAA,
Guest mario25 Guests Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Oh yeah I forgot Marlon HE HAS TO GO
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I don't know about the players, but Willie needs to be shown the door and quick. I want a news conference TODAY if not sooner.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Not a player but I would like to see Minaya on that box.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Toss the bullpen, except for Smith and Stokes.Bye Luis Castillo. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way to Kansas City.
Guest cooby Guests Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Feliciano, Scheonweiss. I'll give Heilman one more chance, I don't know why.Excellent topic idea.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Castillo. But then again, putting someone's face on a milk carton symbolizes that there are people who might actually want to find him.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 Moises Alou. No more teasing. No more rehab. No more "nearly theres." Time to move on.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 From the bullpen I'd keep only Smith, Stokes, Feliciano and Ayala.I'd be open to giving Heilman a second chance - bad seasons happen. How about giving him that chance to start?

soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 That's funny Monk.Peterson was on the radio last week and was asked about Aaron and what he thinks his issues may be.Rick said that Heilman's delivery is and has always been 'fragile'. Not that he was vulnerable to injury but that his motion had a lot of moving parts and that if one piece of it was out of sync then Heilman would have difficulties. He believed that Aaron was just out of sorts and having a hard time finding his way back.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2008 Posted September 30, 2008 I'm sure Peterson could fix him in 10 minutes.
