Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 It was in Washington last year that I first felt like they may blow the damn thing. I dub tonight a BIG GAME.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 We need Pedro not to suck. I don't mean, throw a 3-hitter and whiff 10. Just not to suck.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Agreed. But my confidence in Pedro is pretty much shot.I have a real fear about these four games.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 It's Darth Vader eve.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 If Pedro can't give a good showing against this team then I fear for this season , still the Nats are sure to be pumped up to face the Mets.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 By the way unlikely that Easley will play tonite or for several days. He tweaked something while costing us Saturday's game with that DP.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Castillo needs to seize this chance and get back in as a regular.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 The good news is that we scored 23 runs on these guys during the most recent two game series. The bad is that we let up 18 in the process. No way should that team be getting 18 runs off anybody much less off a (supposedly) good staff.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Nats hitting Pedro hard early doors , 1-0 Nats.
Guest mario25 Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 It is early but Lannan seems to be foolin the fellas
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Doesn't seem like Pedro's gonna last too long, though I hope he was just shaking off some rust there.Seems like Figgy is the designated long guy. Hopefully we won't need him until at least the sixth!

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) How in the heck is Anderson Hernandez batting .340? What is that, 120 points higher than he did with us? Edited September 15, 2008 by Guest
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 How about Castillo's range? He's good for at least six inches, either way!
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 The Schneid's been swinging a decent bat for a while now. Decent in relative terms, of courseAnd we have our first run!
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Castillo is a good fielder. Let's not fall to the lowest common denominator of beating on the whipping boy.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 This guy Lannan ought to win the Cy Young. Sick.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Did you Castillo on that one? He is awful. I wish he wasn't.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 The sound quality of tonight's broadcast is awful. I can hardly make out what Gary and Ron are saying.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Are you hearing a buzzing? I am.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 D-Dad says it's that the crowd mike is pumped up too loud.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Haha I saw that irish. It won't matter. The Mets aren't going to score any more. They're already swinging at all that slop Lannan is throwing. Outside inside up down. 1 fucking hit. Fuck the Mets. I hate baseball. And myself.
Guest KC Guests Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 My audio is fine tonight. As for this IGT, I'm afraid "it's" happening again. Ya know. "It."
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Hey, O...score some runs!
