Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I'm all over the board right now. I'm going tonight and don't know how to feel.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Guy Conti is in the house. All is good.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Got to go with it means nothing beyond a single win.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Option 2. A lot of those runs came after the error. On Tuesday, it took a HBP to get the lead run home.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 It's one game. Albeit a beautiful one. But it's only one game.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 The TURNING POINT OF THE GAME may have been the Schneid screening Guzman on the DP grounder and extending the rally.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I don't know if they've totally turned the corner. I'd wait for a sweep to declare that, and another good bullpen outing.I imagine they do have some more CAHNfidence, what with the 'pen getting to rest over the past 2 days, and the Phillies having Mets-esque bullpen struggles themselves.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I'm the optimist. I think another extended period of winning is on the way. Maine's back, Wags is back, Church is coming back, Duque is vacationing in St. Lucie, but we didn't count on him anyway. It's all good.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I never put a lot of stock in blowout games -- either way. Some days you (or they) just suck.
