I'm guessing that Church isn't available.

So am I but if his head is still on his shoulders and he's in the dugout he may have to bat at some point.

On edit: If we get thru this inning. Show gives up back to back singles and it's Smithtime (

Well it's Smith and/or Armas for the rest of the game - and Armas pitched yesterday though I shudder to think of Smith pitching to LHBs Rollins, Utley & Howard

Smith induces the ground out.

Onto the 11th.

This could go on all night if this joint wasn't such a bandbox.

We're done with Madsen. Deanna Durbin is in the game.

SNY a little slow on announcing the changes.

Durbin in, batting in Victorino's spot.
Werth moves to center.
Jenkins moves to right.
Dobbs in, batting ninth, in left.

Endy's stranded.

Onto the bottom of the 11th in the Bataan Death March of a ballgame.

Smith does stay on.

At this point you throw match-ups out the window.

What a play by Wright!

Why does Delgado come off the bag on throws like that?
Why not just stretch and catch it?

Good play by both in any case.

This team can't do anything easy, lol.

No..but more often than not it ends in a loss as this one probably will

Smith* to face Dobbs-Werth-Utley. Buckle your seatbelt, we may be in for a bumpy ride.

Upon edit: I assumed Armas was coming in after reading Zvon's earlier post before I actually checked to see who was taking the mound for the Mets.

Keith has commented in the past that Delgado doesn't have the greatest footwork at first base.

Thats why he shouldn't use that move unless its totally necessary, IMO.
Just plant your foot on the bag and stretch.
