Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 The bottom 5 of that MFY lineup indicates we oughta win this one.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 This is the TBS game of the week for you non-NYersGirardi loading up on the righties against Ollie - Abreu, Cano & Giambi are sitting with Damon as the only LH starter.Gives them a lot of bench for later on.Be nice to smack Rasner around and make all that meaningless
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Pinstripes with black caps?FIRE THE GUY WHO DRESSES EM!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Man, Wrights just missing quite a few this series.Another to the wall.Lets get Reyes home.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 Boy does Castillo suck. Good thing this is his walk year. Oh yeah.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 Meanwhile, Moron Chip Carey, spawn of Moron Skip Carey, is doing play-by-play for TBS. He called the pitching mound "the bump." What, there aren't enough cliches and slang terms in baseball, he has to make up his own?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Another wasted opportunity.Lowlight: Castillo looking for a ball and gets rung up on a pitch off the outside corner.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Wow.I know this is Perez and this could change at any time, but he is throwing some excellent pitches these first two innings.Im talkin WICKED.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Guess I'll take the one run.Better than none.1-0 Mets after two.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Wow.Perez with 5 Ks thru 3.I'd have to say the little changes to his windup have made a difference.*crosses fingers
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 lol. Delgado's shot broke the scoreboard.2-0 Mets after 3 complete.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Jeter gets the Skanks first hit. Most GAH! worthy.GAH!
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 classic showdown vs gayrod here.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I've been up in that scoreboard Gary, and as far as I know that ladder is the only way up. Course this was way before they had that skyline up there.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 That works. Not watching the action, how is the rain at this point?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Interesting advice from Warthen to Perez in regards to his release point.Because trying to be conscious of that during your delivery must be distracting. Perez getting slapped around a lil bit here in the 6th.Lil bit.He gets Jeter to hit into the force to end the 6th and its 2-0 Mets.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 We let Rasner off way too easy.
