Batty31 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Holy crap...did Delgado eat his Wheaties today or something?
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 fans cheer for delgado....and then boo him for not giving the curtain call.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I like that he didn't go out for the call.I respect that.I heard the boo's he heard yesterday too.I hear what Darling said, and he has a point,...yet i respect what Delgado did there.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Making way too much out of Delgado not going for the curtain call , he's had a great game in a so far poor season , I doubt he feels like celebrating . I don't think it's about dissing the fans at all.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 What is the record for hitless innings? Obviously Vandermeer has the back-to-back in terms of starters.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Wagners slider is just plain filthy.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 That was a fairly solid win. I forget what to do when that happens.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Hoping for a picture of Church's awsum catch.....
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Well, if you want them to release Degado, I'm just glad they didn't yesterday.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Lemme tell you. You remember how I did that tedious table of all the Mets' catching units ranked by sOPS+? I was thinking that we might have one of our worst catching units ever because our catchers had an SOPS+ in the high seventies. I went back to check the numbers after Molina's debut yesterday, and I realized our firstbasemen had an sOPS+ of 45! That's below even the first base disaster of 1979.
