Hey, I'm headed to Wrigley Monday night thanks to a friend with a season plan with some of his friends. Sweetness!

Anybody else going to be at the game?

I heard some Cub fans might be there.

I am flying into Chicago today for a business trip. I land at around 5. . . I really want to try and go but I think it will be too difficult.

Depends where your hotel is. If you're staying near O'Hare, you can easily drop your bags at the hotel and get a cab to Wrigley -- it'd take about 30-40 minutes to get there. Some single tickets still available online.

Try the Goose Island Honker's Ale. Yum.
Try to hold it during the game. A piss break, with the long lines, may cost you about an inning and a half. Those troughs are a plumbing marvel.

Don't remind me. I was in that line feeling like I was being herded like cattle when a "New York Sucks!" chant broke out. I felt very alone in my Mets cap and concerned that I would end up as a victim of a swirly in the trough.

Ended up going to the game. Plane landed 25 minutes early (at midway), called my friend she said "I can still get tickets" ditched my bags with my boss and said "I am going to the game."

General Admission and I sat out in left field. I was surprised by the number of Mets fans at the stadium. Got an earful when Sosa came in. I screamed "MICHIGAN!!!" over and over again. No one understood and I got a bunch of interesting glances.

Glad I went to the game. Never been to Chicago before but feel like I had a good full experience: took 3 subway lines, visited three areas in city, saw the conference center and went to a baseball game. All in two days. I feel like I have seen the city now and never have to go back.

*Almost* went to Sox game as well, but I wanted to hang out with my friend instead and she was too busy to go to another game. Oh well. Next time.

First time since 1980 that the Mets and the Yankees both played in Chicago on the same day.

I'll be in Chicago in mid-May. Scored a couple tix to see the Cubs play the Pirates. Haven't been there in 20-something years (other than many times in O'Hare). Looking forward to it.

Lotsa gripes from Chicago fans about how stale US Cellular (nee New Comiskey) is but really enjoyed watching games there. It's a fine park.

I agree Ted - I really enjoyed Cellular One (back when they were still calling it New Comiskey). I never understood why it got such a bad rap.

Camden Yards has always been overrated, IMO. The seats don't even face the diamond.
