Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 4 straight hits and Eaton's gone after stumping us for 5 innings. Now we just need a quick poke and then 4 good innings for the pen ... no problem!!
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Joe Morgan: "That's why he had such a high ERA last year."Jon Miller: "He gave up a lot of runs."My ears are bleeding.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Burrell has been seriously busting his ass on defense in this series. Off to a hell of a start this season. OE: It's also a contract year for him. Hmm.It's funny, as big a Mets killer as he is, I've always sort of liked him as a player. Almost out of pity, too. He just seems like a very underappreciated hitter in the Dunn mold.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I can't believe Burrell makes that catch. You wanna know why?K, Ill tell you.He SUCKS!(he's hittin and fieldin this season,...must be a contract year)
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 As Mets fans we'd have creamed ourselves for a home-developed outfielder as accomplished as Burrell has been.Fuck yup, tie score.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 YEEEEEAAAAAA!I worship Church.Tie ballgame.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Boo-ya!(I missed all Friday and Satuday's games while visiting family out of town).Piece of advice. Don't take two kids age 3 and 9 months on a 350 mile car ride. Bad things ensue.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I gotta say, I like Church so far. Seems like a gritty gamer.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 That's a lot of simulpostin'.Mets make statement.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Wait, the Mets are on ESPN again tomorrow? It's not Morgan and Miller again, is it?

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Dang. Bottom of the lineup can't continue the trend.Still, brand new ball game.

Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Chad Kroeger is apparently pinch hitting for Philly.Nickelback sucks.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Church is turning out to be a nice little outfielder
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 mgim, you should just hold up a sign that just plainly states that "Joe Morgan Had A Career 158.3 WARP3."We'll see if they acknowledge it.

Our seats are in the upper deck along the third base side, which is usually out of banner/camera range.
