This man Chico is the best pitcher we face in this series. He's a nibbler and a dribbler and you've got to wait his ass out. He lsot 1-0 last time out. Him and Maine is an interesting matchup. both are potential comers.

Yet another Chico and the Maine matchup fo sho. It reminds of a few years back when Glavine was with the Braves the first go-round. Bastard would pitch every Sunday game I went to.

Chico is 2-2 vs. the Mets, with a 6.20 ERA. All of his appearences vs. the Mets came in 2007, and all were as a starting pitcher. He didn't oppose John Maine in any of the four starts:

I really, really like Castillo hitting eighth.

Not that I'm down on his ability, I just think he's a much better option at #8 than Schneid. He's cleared the pitcher twice tonight and if he ever got on with less than 2 outs, he's a better runner than Schneid with the pitcher batting.
