Hall ties it up with a long ball.

That's the thing about Johan, he's good for a home run a start. Luckily they're mostly solo shots.

Or two. 3-2 Milwaukee after a Weeks bomb.

Let's go offense.

Wright lets a doubleplay ball get through his legs...thats not like him, and the met D has been a slopfest today behind Santana.

A great throw by Schneider, I'll keep ripping on his weak stick but he does more than get the job done on defense.

Santana K's Hardy, his 6th strikeout, and the inning is over without big damage.

And Jason Kendall is hitting .452 while Prince Fielder is homerless...

repeat after me.. "its only the 2nd week of april, its only the 2nd week of april, its only..."

Gabe Kapler whacks Santana's 113th pitch out of the ballpark. fuck. its 5-2 brewers

Carlos Muniz coming on.

Look I'm not pointing any fingers here but to make a big deal of your Game Thread Mojo then fail to answer the bell while giving golf updates isn't a good sign.

In other news, Castillo still awful.

Pretty much. The guys behind us basically spent the entire game talking about how we've got 3 and 7/8 more years of his crap.

I guess I can accept getting beat by another team's ace...Sheets was pretty good. The sloppy defense by Wright though was pretty bad.

Not mentioned in this thread: Santana and Easley messing up Sheets' bunt which allowed the Brewers first run to score. Santana fielded it down the third base line, at which time Corey Hart (coming towards home from third) couldn't have been more than 20 feet away from him. Santana should've tagged Hart, or run him back to third and thrown to Easley (who was not covering third).
