if you will be at Shea tomorrow. I am flying in to LGA tomorrow morning to go to the game then flying right back out tomorow night. Taking the plane to the game! Got Loge section 28 seats.

Also, if you are interested, I am willing to take up the Savannah Sand Gnats Season Pass assignment again. Last week I attended the season ticket holder meet and greet and the home opener is this Friday night.

Oh yeah, its been a long time since I have been on here, so hello again everyone. Hope all is well.

Yes, cover the Gnats. Of course. I just hope they aren't as bloody awful.

Somebody pick up Sandgnat at LGA, please.

Absolutely. Flight lands at 8:30am. Assuming no delays and my friend actually shows up on time we are heading right to the lot, so I should be out and about by 9:30 latest.

We'll be in the parking lot around 10=ish by my calculations. I'll PM you with the details.

Anyone else want to show up at the Shea parking lot?

I've got tickets - bringing Junior - but no idea when we'll get there. Lemme know where you'll be and we'll try and stop by.

I will be at Shea as well. Having opening day on a Tuesday for the first time in a while fortunately puts us in our regular seats.

By the way, does anyone know of any decent places for dinner after the game that are nearby? My flight out doesn't leave until 9pm and a friend of mine is going to meet me for dinner, but I don't want to have to take the 7 into Manhattan. Any good Korean bbq or italian that is close by so I can have dinner then head over to LGA for the flight home? I have been to Shea 7 million times, but never went anywhere else but to the game and back (except for Bobby V's once).

I thought my plans for tomorrow would be straightened out by last night but
I'm still impatiently waiting details. I'm going to the picnic area, anyone know
if you can enter and leave the picnic area back to the parking lots or is is like
a regular gate and once you're in you're trapped?

fairy, I have your cell # so I'll call you either way.

gnat, loge 28 is close to the picnic area - if I don't see ya in the parking lot
I'll come up and look for you - been a long time.

Hey KC! Long time man. Hope to see you. We are in LR 28, row A, seats 15 and 16 in case we don't catch up outside.

Thanks Gwreck. I saw that place on citysearch but was hesitant because the reviews were all from back in 2002. Now that you have mentioned it, I think that is where we will go.

And I have a present for you.

metfairy, can you shoot me an email letting me know where people will be?

I'll be there with a work-related event but I'll try to duck out to say hi.

I'm very excited about tomorrow.

It will be my 24th consecutive Shea Stadium Opening Day attended (it could actually be the 26th, but the earliest I have recollection of is '85) and the first with one of my children.

I feel like I'm passing something on to him.

Just wanted to share that.

Gwreck - Thanks for the recommendation on Kum Gang San. It was awesome. I got a little nervous when I walked up and went into their little store next to the actual restaurant. I didn't see the actual restaurant and thought you sent me to some dive or something as a joke. I walked back out, lit a smoke and paced a few steps before seeing the sign for the restaurant. That was a relief since I was meeting someone there and would have been emabarrassed if it was just the place next door!
