Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 When I click Waking Ned Devine, it looks like I've already voted for it and given it a 4 or 5 when I don;t think I had and I wouldn;t give it a 4 or 5 if I did.Nice work anywhoo. Need more votes overall IMO.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Yeah, I'll fix that. It's linking to my version of the page I guess. Though I don't recall being that crazy about WND either.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Clerks II has a fucked-up Rogers poll, and I should have included it at the bottom with the two other polls that are too fucked up to tablulate.Folks who voted four stars on that may have meant to vote four out of four or meant to vote four out of five.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 anything with less than 5 votes should get bumped to the bottom as well.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Nymr's 5-vote rule would make Waking Ned Devine the best movie. I would wager it would show up on no other list at the #1 spot.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 No. You see the lack of data there in column three. Adjust your expectations accordingly. You also have links to see which freaks contributed to the one-vote polls. Also, think of low vote totals as invitations for more votes.

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 so if we all vote down paper clips, will edgy be forced to come up with a new list?this could be fun, like that time we did that thing with the baseball players...
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I'll update the list periodically, certainly. Though I could use some help.I may not have a toddler, but I am, in my own way, fucking exhausted.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Rather than updating the list we simply need more people to contribute reviews and vote on the ones in here. It mioght take another few years but this eventually could be a cool thing.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Additoinally, we could get a SQL guy to make a list that spontaneously updates with each new poll or vote added.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I've made a point to vote on every movie on that list that I've seen. I've also been responsible for at least a couple of reviews of movies that no one else has seen. After a while I stopped reviewing movies that I suspect no one else here will see.For instance, I saw The Counterfeiters this weekend. I won't put up a review for I think it destined to be a one-reviewer flick.
RealityChuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Good job -- it let me update choices for films I've seen since the thread was created.
