MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Gettin' near the time to either pull this thread out of mothballs or start a new one.SoooooFrom Metsblog: The Mets outrighted C Robinson Cancel, SS Wilson Valdez, SS Argenis Reyes and RHP Carlos Muniz to Triple-A yesterday, meaning they have been removed from the 40-man.Who will replace them?Let the fun begin!Later
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 How many spots do they currently have available on the 40?Before getting into trades and free agents, I'd like to see Adam Bostick put on the 40, because he's a prime Rule V candidate otherwise.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I'm not sure. I think there are currently 5 open spots. But the guys on the 60 day DL have to be added back to the 40 man roster before the rule V draft. And I don't know how many of them are eligible for, or will be offered, arbitration.Edgy is our official keeper of such things. Let's wait for his update.Later
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 The new software is making it very difficult to update my table.
