Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Here's a decent one. Which Met set a team record with 16 total bases in an Aug. 30, 1999 pounding of the Astros?

If I recall it right Fonzie was the first MLB player to go 6 for 6 with 3 HRs since Ty Cobb did it in a game.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Is there a joke? How does Piazza escape scrutiny?

How about that he was 5-7 years older than he said he was? That could explain it.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I'm pretty confident that we'd have found that out by now.
