Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I'm diggin' the starting time ... nice way to kick off a three day weekend!
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Ha, I forgot how much I've missed the Pettitte brim scowl. Not.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 If Grady would've had more than a 9 ft. lead, he could've broken up that DP.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Indians strand a lead-off triple as Pettitte is rockin' and a rollin' along.1 - sniffle through six.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 First time seeing this Cleveland satrting pitcher, just struck out Rodriguez, he's got great stuff.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Jaret Wright II, baby. The Yanks'll get him after two elbow surgeries.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Jaba throws some nasty stuff, but you'd think they'd lay off him a little bitand not three strike swing at three balls on the rook.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Does a break to spray some Off count as a mound visit?
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I don't think I've ever seen anything like the bugs that have taken overin Cleveland. They just showed a shot of Jaba's head and he has shit craw-ling all over him.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Dude, this is totally gross. You're telling me the umpires can't call a bug delay to bomb the place? Eeeew.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I ain't doing pbp for a Yankee game, but I have to say it's fun to seeRodriguez's struggles in the post-season continue.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I'm so focused on wanting the Yanks to lose that I forgot to give a huge shout-out to Carmona who outlasted Andy-Boy and has been brilliant!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 This Carmona can sure pitch , not saying anything about Rodriguez in case I jinx things.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Gwynn just repeats everything Brenly says.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Two out man on third for the Indians.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 They walked the hitter to make it first and third then Rivera hits the batter and it's bases loaded.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 This really is one heckuva game.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Rivera strikes Peralta out and we go to the 11th.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Baaaaaases loaded and one out in the bottom of the eleventh for the unfortunately named Asdrubal Cabrera.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 You know? I really enjoy watching Joe Torre. He's such a cartoon character. I want to be able to have Joe Torre p-in-p at all times.Infield fly, two out. Nuts.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 The Yankees lose! Theeeeeeeeeeee Yankees lose! That was a lot of fun.Bugs notwithstanding.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I hereby declare tomorrow to be Travis Hafner Day.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Whacky game, would felt bad for Indians fans if they didn't find a way to finally pull a win out of all those LOB's.On to the Bronx ....
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Great game with brilliant pitching, Perez out of the pen was just great as well.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Hey! Ted Robinson on the TBS Sox-Angels broadcast! I liked Ted Robinson.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I think this game was a game of destiny. If the Indians ever have to change their name, I swear to God, it's gotta be the Insects.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 I'd love to see them change their name to the Spiders. The regular season sucked, but so far the postseason is going very well. Three of the teams I'm rooting for lead their Series 2 games to none.
