I could root for a team with some of the youthful and resilient elements of the MFYs. But I could never root for the MFYs.

National League pride (something the Mets don't have anyway) aside, I hope this is the Tribe's year. I've known some really good Cleveland fans over the years and would like them to get their moment at last.

seriously, I just used a racist word when I really meant "Guardians" are about the only AL team that I like...I rooted for them when Jose Mesa had his meltdowns and let the Braves accidentally win a World Series...plus rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for the IRS to get more taxes...
