Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Who are you rooting for?
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Although the MFY's were an endearing story this season with Steinbrenner going senile and Sister Torre getting fired and Rodriguez becoming a man I am pulling for Cleveland.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Why does this poll even have two options?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 In case silverdsl drops by.Oh, and for Steve Rogers.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 We should write up a bit of code that ties voting for the yankees in this poll to deleting your account for this forum.Actually, it should be tied to reformatting your C: drive. *evil grin*
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Shocked at the lack of objectivity in the voting.
Guest Grote15 Guests Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Why are there 2 options for voting?
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I could root for a team with some of the youthful and resilient elements of the MFYs. But I could never root for the MFYs.National League pride (something the Mets don't have anyway) aside, I hope this is the Tribe's year. I've known some really good Cleveland fans over the years and would like them to get their moment at last.

Guest Grote15 Guests Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 alright who voted for the MFY's...Steve maybe?
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Holy crap, I just had deja vu.

Guest vtmet Guests Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 seriously, I just used a racist word when I really meant "Guardians" are about the only AL team that I like...I rooted for them when Jose Mesa had his meltdowns and let the Braves accidentally win a World Series...plus rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for the IRS to get more taxes...
Guest Iubitul Guests Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I always believed that rooting for the Yankees is usually the result of a personality disorder.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 ="Grote15"]alright who voted for the MFY's...Steve maybe? It probably was the resident Yankee fan and one of the mods of NYYFans.com, SILVERDSL
DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Maybe they voted for the Yankees to win the early rounds, only to have their pain magnified when they lose in the WS?
