Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 So who do you bring out in the 10th? Sele? Humber?Maybe Willie shouldn't have jerked Feliciano out so quickly.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Let's not forget Sosa deserved a save there.Screwed by the error and victimized by a bloop.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Just unacceptable. This is a freaking last-place team. And it's a good thing Beltran had fourth run.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Collazo, Humber, and Dave Williams out there.
Guest holychicken Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I am pretty sure I broke my hand. Fucking-A
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Think Delgado is available as a PH?
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 OK, Gomez, show you belong!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Show you are as fast as they say--steal that base guy.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Delgado is lacing his spikes up.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 How can they bring Sosa back for the 10th?
Guest Mendoza Line Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 The alternatives aren't pretty, either.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I can't watch or read this half inning coming up.Im steppin off.

Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Extra inning game on the road = bottle of antacid.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Broke his bat, hit too slowly, and the winning run is on.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Gotta whiff Ugly here. He's not bunting

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Absolutely shameful. Beyond shameful. I'm joining the people who want to puke.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Four hits for Uggls.Twenty for Miami.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 We'll get 'em tomorrow.

And I've asked about Humber and the others. Clearly Sosa didn't have it.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 This was too much to ask of Sosa, pitching in clutch situtations in relief two nights in a row. He's not been bred as a reliever. The move in the 10th was whomever was out there, batter by batter. And if they ran out, then shame on Omar because he could have 5 more guys sitting out there. Yes, nobody else left is as good as Sosa but Sosa had a hard inning last night and another one tonight. Sele and Williams aren't that good, of course, but they're not tired and Sosa was.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 ...what's I miss?You don't really have to answer that.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 To borrow the philosophy of AA, you have to hit rock bottom before you can start crawling back up. I think the Mets hit rock bottom tonight.
