stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Philly leads 1 zip in the 4thCheck that, Braves up 2-1 thanks to a Brian McCann homer.Seattle up 5-1 (3 in the top of the 4th) in the Bronx, also in the 4th.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Kelly Johnson sac fly makes it 3-1 Braves.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Mussina pitching out of the pen for the MFY.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 ...so you can pretty much mark this one down as a Mariner win.
Guest Iubitul Guests Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I never ever, ever, ever would have thought that I would root for the Braves in September...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 5-1 Braves is your final as Phils manage just 4 hits.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 Final from the Bronx: Ms 7 - Ys 1WC lead back down to 1 game.Geez if those fuckin Mariners could have won just occasionally over the last week and a half.

Torre says he'll miss at least next start and will presumably slot in Mussina.Ooops. Dropped $25 million.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 "Doctor, the MRI diagnosis readout just says dross. Is this right?"
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 Brewers, Cubs & Cards all lose -- doesn't look like anyone wants that division.Brews pen blows another one after a decent start from Sheets.Cards get smacked by Pitt and are now not only without Encarnacion for the season but also Rolen who needs shoulder surgery. In Boston, Dice-K had a 10-1 lead and gave it all back. Now 13-10 Boston in the 8th.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 Oakland, who I was privately rooting for to sneak into the wild card race against all odds, is getting a serious California smackdown from the Angels. It's 9-0.Oops, 9-1 as I type as Shannon Stewart goes deep! Go, Oakland!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2007 Author Posted September 3, 2007 Boston hung on; AL East lead back to 7.Cleveland beat the Twins & Santana; extend their lead to 6 in the Central.
