Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Just l like Rich Becker in 1998.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Seriously no pinch runner for Alomar?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I'd pinch-run for Alomar now.Maine, Perez, El Duque, anyone!!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 And now I think you HAVE to do it.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Fat Fuckin', Fat Wifey Havin' Heath Fuckin Bell can bit me.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Turns out to be irrelevant.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 We'll get 'em tomorrow.Or, you know, get somebody.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 The Mets may have lost 2 of 3 in this series, but they showed me more heart in these 3 games than in the last 3 months combined.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Reds had 2d and 3d no out, tie game, and now it's bases loaded 2 out.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 We lost but a brilliant game,very enjoyable......showed a lot of fight.Dare I say they battled.

And if the Reds follow the Dodgers and take care of business, no harm for us.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Jeff Keppinger gets called out on strikes with the bases loaded.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Careful there Monk. If you don't have certifiable statistical evidence that the actual level of heart has increased, there are some on this forum who will tear you a new one.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 He prolly has a fat wifey too(Jeff Keppinger that is).I'm mad.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Braves didn't score in the top of the 12th.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I'm glad we're hitting but I'm really concerned about the bullpen. Aaron Heilman's habit of giving up home runs in the worst possible situation is a big problem, IMO. Feliciano and Schoeneweis have been encouraging lately, and Wagner I can brush off as a temporary struggle but I still don't think we have a good 7th/8th inning coverage. Worries me.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I wish I could send a Schaeffer to Adam Dunn. Thanks for the help big guy.

No to piss on anyone's ProKeds. I agree they look more alive than all year... just, pissed.
