Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Let's fire the hamstring coach.
Guest martin Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 shit! maine running for him? that is kinda weird.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 This is the last thing we need.Oh, and YEA--put Maine in to run--thats nice.Lets lose two starters in one day 8-/
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Schoeneweis warms up!Why is Aaron Sele on this team?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Maybe I should leave now so my jinx complex doesnt get any worse than it already is.Cuz if the Mets lose this game-I will need a shrink.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I think when Omar drew it up, Show was the guy they wanted to face Howard while protecting a Met lead.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 TransMonk wrote:Why is Aaron Sele on this team? For the occasional blow-out game or when you need someone early in the game to go multiple innings. Not in the 6th of a 2-run game vs an LHB like Howard.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 This Dobbs guy in at least a generation too young to have his teammates nickname him 'Trooper'
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 It's feasible to only pitch Schoeneweis during road games, right?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Schoeneweis keeps that road ERA pristine.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Willie's ability to feas may surprise us.I'd sure like to score a half-dozen runs this inning.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 FK: >>>Let's fire the hamstring coach<<<HOW could this happen on a team with this payroll. DON'T they properlycoach the pitchers NOT to bust it down the LINE???? PLUS, WHO THEFART is stretching these players OUT??? I WANT HIM GONE TODAY!!!(there will be someone on WFAN saying this tonight at 2.30 am while weare sleeping)
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Hey--so far so good Thats home/away ERA stat that Schoeneweis owns this season is wack.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 OMG Rowland almost got that one!!
Guest martin Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 that was almost the play i have been waiting my whole life to see, the catch by an outfielder who falls over the fence.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Well, you can't fault Rowand for not trying. I mean, holy crap.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 It was a valiant effort. But I have to say that Ive seen alot of Philly games on TV, and theres no doubt that Rowand has not been the same centerfielder he was before he made that fantastic catch/collision with the wall off Nady last year. This drive off Beltran was right in the thick part of his glove, and there was a day he makes that catch.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Phillies are 6 losses from becoming the first sports franchise to ever lose 10,000 games. nice.Gomez just got hit by a pitch and Jose Mesa is back on the mound for philly, wow i thought that guy was retired.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Gomez plunked, I love how FOX has a quick shot on que for both dugouts. He needs to be thrown at another time or two, I like the way he just ran quicklydown to first. I dig this guy.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Mesa throws a heavy fastball too.Thats gonna leave a mark. And that Gomez kid just shrugs it off like its a bug bite. Hey--I like him.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 So thats 9 HRs for the Mets in the last 3 games?--Including 4 by Beltran?Wowsers. This is what I like to see.Especially vs. the Phools.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Would any of youse like to get in Lo Duca's way once he's motorin'?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 Kid Carsey wrote:Would any of youse like to get in Lo Duca's way once he's motorin'?lol. He runs like a fat man but if you noticed, his breathing was not even labored. Those legs might be slow but they are solid.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 WOOHOOOO.Double play ends it.Color me happy
