metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Last June 20 we were 9.5 games ahead with a 44 - 26 record...we suck this month
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 New York 38 32 .543 -Atlanta 38 35 .521 1.5Philadelphia 37 35 .514 2.0Florida 35 38 .479 4.5Washington 30 42 .417 9.0In case you were wondering, the Braves are trailing the Dodgers and D'Backs (leaders) for the WC.This is clearly going to be a "Down The Stretch" race, historically we've never been great at these right? I think 73 and 99 are the only times the Mets managed to win a race that went down to the wire.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 6 straight losses at Shea for me. Even in the crappiest of crappy years, I managed to be very lucky and see more wins than losses at Shea. Made those years kinda more tolerable. Strange that in an otherwise fairly good year I've got this kinda situation. Watching the Mets lose in person sucks at least 200% more.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Well, we put an end to that. Now let's end Gwreck's slump.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 No need! My slump actually ended first (was there Friday night).
