seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Sure, Tim Lincecum. you've pitched in the big leagues before. But this is Shea Stadium, bitch.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 It's wonderful to have the Mets on ESPN because that means HD, but it also means the dopey ramblings of Rick Sutcliffe, the incoherency of Dusty Baker, and the inane stories of the otherwise lovely Erin Andrews. Plus, as with every "out of town" broadcast, it means the same story lines: Reyes is fast; Wright is popular; the Mets have a good lineup; Franco is old.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Wow, didn't think that was gone coming off the bat.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 The ball is just flying out of Shea tonight. Damnit.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Leaving Perez in to cough up the lead in the seventh?Come on, Willie, that's Heilman's job!
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 And an appearance from Fatheaded Steve Trachsel means Ollie's done for the night.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 You knew they'd live to regret not getting Beltran in from 2nd with 1 out.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Meanwhile in Milwaukee, the Brewers plate two runs in the bottom of the third inning to tie the Braves at three. They have the bases loaded with 2 outs against Smoltz and are looking to take the lead. Unfortunately, the pitcher Ben Sheets is up and Smoltz quickly strikes him out on three pitches to end the inning and preserve the tie.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 One more post by Rockin' and I can stop confusing him with Dickshot.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Way to go, Wagner.Get him a win, Delgado.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Let's make Billy the Kid a winner in the bottom of the ninth. I keep getting myself confused with JD.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 For fifty Dickshot posts, you're all alone.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Lots of ugly looking Right Fielding today.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Wright went into his home run trot a little too early.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 C'mon Franco. Let's make a story you can tell your grandkids 40 or so years months from now.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I don't blame Lewis there. He did a good job getting back.Your team, your time, Julio.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 ="Edgy DC"]Gary Cohen: "If Ozzie Smith's in the Hall of Fame, Omar Vizquel's in the Hall of Fame."Edgy DC: "I don't necessarily agree."Omar Vizquel: "Suck it."
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 That play was hotter than Pearly that one time at band camp.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Omar's got my vote.Frandsen's got my vote also and I don't even know who he was. What a play.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Somehow, when Willie sends our primary pinch hitter up with the game on the line and he's hitting under .200, it just doesn't inspire much confidence.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I don't think Schoeneweis wanted any part of parts. Can't say I blame him. I didn't like that much up at all.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Schoeneweis just isn't getting it done
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I've watched Aurelia tonight, and he seems to start too early to compensate for a slower bat. Heilman should be able to handle him unless he guesses change at the right time.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I'll take it.Now Johnson gets his licks.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 If my memory serves, Russ Ortiz is a Benson Buncher.Give 'em hell, Ben.
