I remember Julie Donaldson did a spring training show with Maine and Humber,they were out to dinner talking shop..he seemed alright to me,kinda dull and droning.....

I don't care if he has ugly incidents with the media. (I mean, I'd prefer if he didn't, but I'm not going to get all upset if he does.)

Steve Carlton wasn't that friendly with the media, and I wouldn't have minded having HIM on my team.

Maine's job is to get guys out, not to shmooze with reporters from The Pennysaver.

A few more pointlessly insulting articles like this, and nobody will blame Maine if he does get mad at reporters. Then again, now that the knee-jerk reaction has gone away, I hope Maine realizes that this is the kind of comment he's better off not dignifying with a response.
