soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Before I realized that it was an obvious fake I thought to myself 'Yogi's autograph doesn't look like that...''Krawk Mozzuchi' - funny as hell.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 1) Those are clearly forged sigs of Ruth, Mantle, (Mantle clearly isn't the way the Mick signed it) Williams and Berra (whom the seller thought said "Yogi Bear")2) "krawk mozzuchi" Or "Frank Mozzuchi" as it looks, well, I never even heard of!3) 100 dollars as the opening price? Clearly this is the work of someone A) wanting to take someone for a ride or bought the ball thinking it really was signed by all 5 people and thought 100 was a real price to start (Considering Ruth died in 1948, chances are, unless you are a super fan collector like a Barry Halper, not too many Ruth-Mantle stuff exists, so we are starting a lot more than just 100)
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Wait, Steve, it's a fake?Shit man, thanks. I had the credit card out already. I'd hate to ruin my ultimate Krawk Mozzuchi memorabilia collection with counterfeits.
